These are a few of the woman I shared the Holistic Make-Inner with. I wanted you to meet them because they are all true examples of transformation in action.
Pat Baccili: Dr. Pat Baccili is an internationally recognized expert in the human potential field who makes a positive difference helping others realize their dreams. Dr. Pat has a radio program that is rated #1 for positive talk radio. She put together the Holistic Makeover based on the principals of Pay it Forward. I was attracted to that because Paying it Forward is a heart felt way of life for me. It is a genuine passion for Dr.Pat. Dr. Pat is committed to transforming the world one listener at a time….and she is!
Ellen Dinucci: ellendinucci.com Ellen was my coach during the makeover. If you are putting together a thoughtful, spiritual or other right brain type business, be in touch with Ellen. Her understanding of the intuitive mixed with sublime left brained editing is wonderful!
Anya Gorodetskaya: As a registered nurse, Anya offers holistic services through her company, Inner Pathways. Anya is a certified hypnotist and works with other holistic health care providers that support natural pregnancy and childbirth. Anya is also certified in Hypno-birthing, which helps women to experience greater ease during child birth. Anya believes in getting things done! She has a no nonsense approach to life that makes her exquisitely suited to assisting other women through the birthing process.
Dana Gaya: Leadership Counsel Consultants provides direction and support to social entrepreneurs and nonprofit enterprise leaders. Her company develops innovative approaches to improve the profitability and social impact of new or existing social ventures. They serve social purpose businesses, nonprofit enterprises, and micro-enterprises. Dana is one of the warmest people you will ever meet. She willingly takes on the role of creating systems that nurture and produce maturing opportunities for kids and young adults. That doesn’t surprise me because she carries the energy of the global mother in her heart.
Teresa Goertz: Teresa has so many talents, that I’ve lost track! Among them are jewelry maker, working with essential and healing oils, world traveler and writer. Her blog, http://alottamusings,wordpress.com will give you a sense of the adventures this tech savvy lady has had!
Deborah Voll: Deborah has several blogs and websites because she is an energy powerhouse. Her main blog is here. One of her sites is a support site for single moms. This website is a place for single moms to come and get information, resources, friendships and access to discussion groups. Another of Deborah’s projects is Java for Jesus. It is a company which helps church youth groups all over the world achieve their fund raising goals so they can accomplish their mission and service. Last but not least, Sip and Stitch, another of Deborah’s creative endeavors is all about gathering to socialize, stitch, and use a glue gun
Laurie Wilkinson: Laurie has been on an inner journey and here is her blog. Her journey is about what she’s found out about herself , and what she plans on doing about it in order to move forward with goals in life so she can be the best for herself and others. She has a tremendous wealth of holistic health knowledge to share with the world!
Exceptionally Inspiring People…Like You!
I’ve been so busy writing the book and much more. I’ll tell you about that later.
Right now I have to share this, I have been meeting sooooo many inspirational people, people who are manifesting the world that they carry in their heart. Over the next several months, I’m going to tell you about all of them!
I’ve got to start with something happening this week-end in my life and I hope you will look into this in your life. Have you heard of Transition Town http://transitionus.org/? Talk about visualizing and manifestation!!! Talk about positive visions of the future and working/playing/dancing towards it! This is a super viral (good type) movement that starts with imagining from the heart what we want the future to be and to back engineer from that imagining, the steps we need to take to reach this lovely, humane, sustainable, joyous future. It takes a hugely positive and literal approach to issues in the economy and peak oil. It uses real techniques, gets practical and is now on the New York Times best sellers list, “The Transition Handbook, From oil dependency to local resilience” by Rob Hopkins (see www.transitionculture.org). The lovely man who started it was a permaculture teacher and so smart about what makes human organic systems and structures thrive. In utter brilliance he created inclusive self regulating and self creating systems (just like Mama Nature does it) to assist us all in taking steps towards a doable and deliciously wonderful to live, vibrantly good for the planet future!
Now, the mama in me has to jump up and down….this week-end May 2 & 3 ‘09 my 16 year old boy will be at a Transition Town Training to become a Transition Town facilitator……he’s the first teen in Washington State to be trained to do this………and the whole movement is about creating positive sustainable empowering futures for all of us! One of their stated purposes is to assist people to work and vision collectively!!! OHHH, THIS IS MY HAPPY, HAPPY JOY, JOY PLACE……THIS IS ONENESS IN PRIME ACTION! It goes way beyond politics and goes straight to the heart, the heart of what all people carry as a dream for their future and yours!
I will be sharing people and groups that inspire me….to inspire you….and ‘cause it’s fun!
Dr. Pat Baccili, www.TheDrPatShow.com the Dr. Pat of the international award winning “Dr. Pat Show, Talk Radio to Thrive By!”deeply believes in “Pay it Forward”, so as our economy was getting worse, as our spirits were flagging she decided to do a “Holistic Makeover, a makeover from the inside out”. The premise was, “What haven’t you done yet that you would do if you knew you could not fail and how would you Pay it Forward?” I immediately began referring to it as a “make-inner”.
Well, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to give the world the 30+ years of teachings and wisdom that has been given to me. I wanted to stand in the strength of my own knowing, unafraid to share it with others. I wanted to support and participate in the expanding global consciousness, a movement of thought that shows us how to create a more humane world for ourselves and others. I wanted to help all the children who struggle with learning and/or developmental disabilities. I wanted to re-frame the way the world sees them so that the wisdom, sensitivity and hope these children bring stands out when we see them.
Not too much to ask for…and I thought I was ready, over ready, really, really ripe. I figured the only thing I needed help with was to overcome whatever I was still afraid of that stood in the way of “my dream”. Wooooh, was I right……and bigger woooooh, be careful, very careful what you ask for!
I will be sharing with you the depths and enormous heights that this journey was and is for me.
ONE OF MY “PAY IT FORWARDS” IS TO CREATE A FREE FORMAT FOR YOU TO FOLLOW SO YOU TOO CAN GIVE YOURSELF AND YOUR FRIENDS “A HOLISTIC MAKEOVER, FROM THE INSIDE OUT!” I’ll let you know when that’s available!
This is a gift to the Mayan elders at the Mayan Ceremony being held in Sedona, AZ at The Gathering of the Ancestors (4/18/’09 – 4/28/’09) http://www.instituteforculturalawareness.com/index.php/Articles-and-FAQ-s/Return-of-the-Ancestors.html. It was written as a tribute to my Guatemala Maya friend & teacher to bring to light the deeper challenges, heartbreak and heart opening he faced in his own marriage of Eagle & Condor, his actual marriage to a wonderous American woman. With great love, Aleta
He was a boy of the highlands.
Dirt reach feet.
Maybe more goat than boy.
She was a girl of the beaches.
Strands of corn silk sand swimming in her eyes.
Maybe more wind than woman.
He sure footed home one day
Maybe boy of 7
Sees them in pools of red more ending than breathing
Passion flower, hibiscus, pomegranate seeds drip just that color he says
to no spirit calling to comfort him.
No thought of heaven only heat.
No friend jaguar to calm his blood rising head.
Jaguar lost his spots that day.
Darkness swept over his back that day
Carried off boys heart that day
Till jaguar melted all golden fur, burned smooth
Smooth, no wind, no touch, never touch him again.
Jaguar lost his spots that day.
A black beast melted into jungle
Burned heart melted boy….ash reach feet that day…sure footed, falling.
She danced her feet in sand.
White toenails
White beaches
Sweet scents, fabric softener cushioned all her falls.
One fall too hard
When boy black as panther – talking of jaguar- softly singing to gods who claimed words as feast
Words as payment
Beauty words for entrance to tables laden with words, words of love, words of resurrection.
He never told her of the day
The day his brother lay
Black hair, jaguar moaning, black hair shining soaked in blood.
Creamed corn hands held long guns
Tall men laughing.
He thought, I will take back life
Take back life from her.
She thought, I will never hear words so beautiful.
He thought, I will howl my pain into her light.
She thought, I will wrap my wings around his wound.
He thought, I will likely die without her belly.
She saw the blackened broken grave.
She knew she was the enemy.
She gave her body as redemption, swinging long hair over his belly, wrapping legs tight on his heart.
He thought, I will not forget.
She screamed silent into the jungle, I will never forget.
Jaguar lost his spots that day
Blackened heart, hibiscus heat, padded feet silent stalking
Looking hard for his prey
Jaguar passed by the boy that day
Jaguar passed by the girl where they lay
Jaguars feast was ghost that day
I will never forget he howled, passion flower, hibiscus blood dripping down his fur.
Pomegranate seeds erupt from safety, landing in dirt, dusty ash filled ground, sure footed they take root and grow.
Forever, she said tiny sand hand in his.
Forever, he said lips grazing her softly swelling.
